A new Hoax the rounds of the Internet to spread on Twitter, Tumblr and Facebook, and targeting young people unwittingly, and iPhone and iPod touch users were younger.
Deception is in the form of official looking graphics (as above), the instructions for charging your iPhone or iPod shows in a microwave oven. Just 15 seconds in the microwave cooking cycle, charge it back to the height of a full battery, manual claim. Other examples of graphics used in the hoax below.
It is of course not true. Placement of an electronic device in a microwave and turned it on, even just a few seconds, it is in the electronics in the device, and makes it unusable. The damage is not usually covered by the manufacturer or warranty provider of cellular service plans.
